This is Louie - named by Dylan who said he should be St. Lou"ie" and so it stuck
The hardest part of raising goats is having to sell some of the kids. We grow so attached to them and each one, believe it or not, has a very unique personality! Louie was one of those. He now lives in South Dakota with his new family. He took with him a spunky personality, his sires excellent dairy characteristics and his dams blue eyes. We still miss him.
Another one that was most difficult to let go was Sochi's first kid. She was getting ready to leave for her new home in this photo below. A snuggle bug for certain, even though she was raised by her dam, she loved people more than other goats!
