Farm Tours and Education

We have had many requests for farm tours and various education opportunities on the farm over the past several years.  So this year, 2024, we have found a way to offer three opportunities for touring the farm and learning soap and lotion-making techniques.

100% of all proceeds from these education opportunities will go directly to funding the annual Scripturefest event that our family hosts.  This funding will help keep that event free for all who wish to attend each year.  To learn more about Scripturefest, find info at www.scripturefest-mo.com

See below for more details on each educational opportunity.  Dates and times will be posted as they are determined.  Sign up by emailing us at libertymissionfarms@gmail.com.

All ages welcome

Available Dates:

Friday, March 15th

Ever wondered what goes into running a small farm and dairy goat business? Join us for a fun and educational tour of Liberty Mission Farm!

Get a guided look at our farm and a glimpse at how we raise our goats and chickens holistically.  This tour is great for the whole family.

Depending on the season, visit baby goats and chicks, see the laying hens, learn about how Freedom Ranger meat chickens are raised and perhaps get a goat milking demonstration.  Each tour will have different elements depending on the season.

Information about basic gardening practices and compost will also be covered.

Price: $15.00/adult / $7.00/children up to 13 years / Children ages 4 and under free.

**Our farm is like other farms in that there is uneven terrain and we aren't able to accommodate those with mobility difficulties.  Children should be watched at all times as animals can be unpredictable and safety is of our upmost concern.

To sign up for this tour and learn about payment options, email us at libertymissionfarms@gmail.com.

TOURS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE so please be sure the dates will work for you before signing up.  We do understand that sometimes circumstances change out of your control. If you are unable to attend, fees can be applied to a future tour date or another education event at the farm.
